Futureboard Consulting raised nearly £500.00 at a Christmas-themed pub quiz in Farringdon.
Office members, friends and relatives met yesterday evening at the Fence pub in Farringdon to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).Futureboard raised £478 for the charity via JustGiving.
Megan Nee, consultant at Futureboard and organiser of the quiz, said: “We were delighted at how the quiz turned out last night. We had so much fun we’re thinking of making it a yearly event!”
She added: “It was great to see so many of our friends and family come along to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association. It’s a cause that is very close to our hearts so we’re glad that people dug deep into their pockets to help.”
The teams took part in eight rounds of questions, with sections such as “Did The Daily Mail Really Say That?” featuring the Mail’s raciest headlines, “Name the David” including David Cameron and his less famous homonyms, and “Quizmas”, a Christmas quiz.

According to MNDA, Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.
